A Title is, typically, a name that was given to any kind of creative work. But what does it mean when you find it in the metadata of your file? Find out by reading more about the metadata tag Title.
The Title meta tag is a very broad one. It can refer to different titles found in the file in question. This includes:
- book title in e-book files (also, see Book Name)
- song or album title in audio files
- movie or clip titles in video files
- defined or user-given titles in document files
Since there are so many uses and applications for the Title, the meta tag itself usually gives a more detailed description of what kind of title is defined. For example:
