Renewable energy

We choose to be powered by renewable energy whenever possible. Our data centers and our office mostly run on renewable energy sources such as wind, hydropower, and solar power.

Green products

We focus on developing web-based projects that help protect the environment. For example, by using less paper, you can reduce the impact on forests, cut energy use and climate change emissions, reduce water and air pollution, and produce less waste. When you use one of our programs, your tasks are 100% paperless.

Home office

All of our employees have the option to work 100% from home, permanently. This avoids daily commuting to the office and saves a significant amount of energy.

Video conferencing

We aim to work with our suppliers via video conference instead of meeting in person. Visiting our suppliers virtually helps save energy and avoids unnecessary travel.

Donations

Our founder and employees take turns nominating charities, non-profits, or open source projects they wish to support. For every dollar an employee donates, the company doubles it. We are proud to have supported several organizations since starting this initiative and look forward to continuing it.

If you think your cause is a good fit, please apply using our support page and we will consider a donation. We mainly focus on child and educational programs.

Educational program

A good education is one of the most important things. To support this, we created the Metadata2Go educational program, which lets students and teachers use our paid premium services for free worldwide. Please apply for your free educational account here.

Initiatives

We support networks and conferences financially and by sharing our expertise. For years we have sponsored the local Barcamp (video) and are part of the Cyberlago network.

Depending on their income and location, not everyone can spend their budget the way they want. That is why we offer most features for free. Find more information about our pricing here.

Trainees and interns

We regularly offer positions for interns and apprentices. We are proud that about 15% of our team are learning and growing with us.
